The Gardener Supervisor will perform the following duties: Responsibilities: – Lead and manage a team of gardeners in carrying out daily gardening activities. – Assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure quality work. – Develop and implement weekly and seasonal gardening schedules. – Plan watering, pruning, planting and landscaping activities. – Supervise the planting, trimming, fertilizing and general maintenance of flowers, trees, lawns and other greenery. – Ensure proper maintenance of walkways, fences and outdoor furniture. – Ensure the correct use and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment. – Monitor inventory and request supplies, including seeds, fertilizers and tools, when necessary. – Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications and Skills Required: Applicants must meet the following requirements: – A Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture or a related field. – Fluency in both English and Swahili. – Ability to supervise gardening activities and coordinate daily tasks. – Willingness to ensure the proper care and maintenance of landscaped areas and gardening equipment.
