POST 1: Security Officer (National Position)
• 1. Security watch, analysis and humanitarian access

Education / Qualifications

Collect, cross-check and analyze relevant security information Kinshasa and areas of intervention; prepare summaries and factual alerts to be submitted to the supervisor. Support, under the coordination of the supervisor, security risk assessments (SRA), security level monitoring (SLS) and verifications of compliance with applicable security measures. Identify humanitarian access constraints, monitor their evolution and propose mitigation measures to the supervisor for travel preparation and business continuity. Participate in technical exchanges and security coordination meetings only upon prior instruction or authorization from the hierarchy; record relevant information and ensure reporting.

• 2. Application of procedures and operational preparation Contribute to the updating of security plans, contingency plans, movement procedures and means of communication; accompany the application after validation of the hierarchy.

Other information

Conduct regular security checks of offices, residences, vehicles and other facilities; report deficiencies and monitor approved corrective actions. Prepare and carry out, in coordination with the hierarchy, security briefings for staff and visitors; participate in the organization of prevention and incident preparedness exercises.

• 3. Incident reporting, documentation and reporting Receive and document incident reports and access constraints, immediately inform the responsible person according to AVSI circuits and maintain a secure and up-to-date record. Prepare status points, alert notes, weekly summaries and periodic reports for review and validation by the supervisor. Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of actions decided during an incident or crisis, without replacing the crisis management team or engaging the organization without authorization.
• 4. Base support and internal coordination Provide, at the request of the supervisor, operational support to the Base Security Focal Points and consolidate their information, without exercising hierarchical or autonomous functional supervision. Maintain expressly authorized technical
