Movis Cameroon Recruiting an General Accountant to monitor its accounting operations.
The main mission of the position is to control the integration of disbursements and customer invoices, the daily recording of treasury operations and Orange Money, bank reconciliations, invoicing as well as monthly and annual accounting closing works.
Main duties
You will organize your activities around the following missions: verify, codify and record the accounting records related to the treasury, analyze and write the accounts, then draw up the accounting and financial documents of Movis Cameroon, including the accounts, balances, balance sheet, ledger (GL) and statistical statements.
You will prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and check the concordance between the physical balance and the account balance of the caisse. You will digitize suppliers’ payment documents on a daily basis and attach them to the corresponding accounting entries.
You will carry out the accounting transactions of Movis Cameroon, including bank reconciliations and control of Orange Money operations. You will ensure the accounting treatment and closure of the accounts receivable and payable related to disbursements, and will establish the billing of vehicle convoys.
You will issue the debit notes in the Silver software and proceed to their accounting registration. You will assist the Chief Accountant in his duties by ensuring, if necessary, payroll accounting, closing operations and account analysis. You will temporarily replace those responsible for the Treasury and Customers sections during their periods of leave.
Candidate profile
Training: Bac + 4 or Bac + 5 in accounting, finance or an equivalent specialty.
Professional experience: at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, including 3 years minimum in an accounting firm.
Required skills
