Duties and Responsibilities:
Support payroll administration, including processing, UIF submissions, and salary reconciliations
Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including job advertising, screening, interview coordination, and orientation
Coordinate training and development initiatives, maintain training records, and assist with WSP submission
Maintain accurate HR records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Prepare monthly HR reports (headcount, turnover, leave, and training metrics) and submit annual Employment Equity reports
Assist with employee benefits administration, leave management, and HR-related queries
Support employee engagement initiatives, including social events, internal communications, and wellness program
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
4–6 years’ experience in a generalist HR or HR administration role
Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as SAGE 300 People
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
