We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring quality and quantity accuracy

Maintain organized storage systems for food items, beverages, and operational supplies

Issue materials to departments (kitchen, bar, housekeeping) based on approved requisitions

Track expiry dates and implement the FIFO (First In, First Out) method

Collaborate with the Accountant/Procurement team on cost control and stock valuation

Prepare inventory and usage reports for management review

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and internal control policies

Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reordering to prevent shortages or overstocking

Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile discrepancies

Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems

Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene, safety standards)

Requirements

Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field

A good understanding of food and beverage stock handling is an added advantage

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

2–4 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in hospitality (hotel, restaurant, lounge)

Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes

Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems
