Education / Qualifications

Our country team in Senegal is made up of about fifteen employees. Educo has its offices in Dakar and also in the city of Kolda. It has a mandate to implement our projects and programs in the regions of DakarSedhiou and Kolda in the fields of education, participation of children and adolescents vocational training and employability of young people, promotion of rights and protection of children, strengthening of community livelihoods, food security, wash in school, strengthening of national systems, policy dialogue, capacity building. As part of the strengthening of its team, its dynamic of intervention and its expansion in Senegal, Educo Senegal is looking for a person who can occupy the following position:

Location

• Nature and duration of the contract: twelve (12) month fixed term including three months of renewable trial period; possibility of renewal of the contract in case of satisfaction; Hierarchy: Country Director;

Responsibilities

Under the hierarchical responsibility of the Country Director, the

• e Logistics is responsible for the planning, implementation and operationalization of the procurement and logistics system He/she contributes to the quality of the procurement and logistics process for the achievement of project objectives, in accordance with the requirements of Educo and the lessor. Essential tasks The management of the fleet and the electrogene group
• Manage the proper operation, maintenance and repairs of the vehicle fleet and generator/solar panels;
• Produce the monthly report on vehicle and generator fuel consumption;
• Pay particular attention to safety issues relating to the use of vehicles (authorised persons, special conditions, safety equipment, etc.);
• Monitoring the validity of contracts and insurance policy (car and motorcycle insurance, technical visits, etc.) Management of premises and equipment
• Supervise cleanliness and hygiene in the premises of Educo Dakar and in the field;
• Follow the documents relating to equipment management (repair record, loss record, certificate of liability);
• Supervise the installation and proper functioning of equipment;

Other information

• Ensure the assignment and ensure the maintenance and monitoring of equipment, made available to teams (office furniture, computer equipment, motorcycles, etc.);

• Develop and follow the Country Market Passing Plan;
• Ensure purchases in quality, quantity, best price and delivery times for the realization of activities according to the needs and demand of the teams, and operation;
• Prepare administrative documents concerning the entire official purchasing process (request to purchase and services, request for quotations from suppliers, comparative tables, PV selection, Order form, delivery ...) for validation;
• Track orders and deliveries of goods and services;
• Ensure complete, reliable and accessible archiving of procurement records, in accordance with internal procedures and donor requirements, to enable verification and audit;
• Ensure the management of stocks;
• Ensure compliance with Educo’s internal procedures and the requirements of donors applicable to purchases, including thresholds, competitive bidding, number of quotes, selection criteria, justification of choices and traceability of the process, in order to ensure the eligibility of expenses;
• Ensure the full traceability of the purchasing process, from the expression of the need to receipt and payment, ensuring the availability and consistency of required supporting documents;
• To monitor contracts and suppliers, including compliance with contractual conditions, delivery times, quality of goods and services and, where appropriate, corrective measures. Safety and travel management

• Êhold a university degree Bac+3 in Management, Supply and Logistics with 3 years of experience in logistics management: Purchasing, fleet management, Stock management, purchase of goods and services, warehouse, asset management) in international organizations;
• Have a proven knowledge of the procedures, regulations and rules regarding procurement and logistics management of international donors (European Union, World Bank);
• Experience with projects funded by the European Union and/or incorporating a transformative gender, women’s rights and inclusion approach is an asset;
• Mastery of the computer tools Word, Excel and Power point for writing reports and browsing on the Internet (Teams and OUTLOOK);
