Description
The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new merchants and business partners, developing commercial opportunities, monitoring existing clients and merchants, and contributing to the growth and improvement of the company’s digital solutions. Missions / Responsibilities / Activities
Identify, prospect, acquire new merchants, business partners. And Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants and clients. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth. Negotiate and conclude commercial partnerships. Develop and implement effective commercial and operational strategies. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Act as a Product Owner, contributing to the functional definition and improvement of the company’s digital solutions. Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous development of the platform. Prepare regular reports on prospecting activities, partnerships, merchant acquisition, and commercial performance. Achieve assigned sales, partnership, and business development objectives. Conduct field activities and business visits as required. Job Requirements Candidate Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree to Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, commercial activities, or a related role. Professional & Technical Skills: Proven ability to sell and develop business opportunities. Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills. Good understanding of digital marketing and technology-driven businesses. Strong interest in digital platforms, fintech, and emerging technologies. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and business activities. Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage. Ability to analyze customer needs and propose appropriate solutions. Ability to work with targets and performance objectives. Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English and French. Applicant profile
