To keep pace with growth, we are looking for a Driver who shall provide chauffeur services and logistics activities in Northern Cameroon. The position is a position with 40h/week. This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of Cameroon. An expatriation is not intended. These are your responsibilities Driving: Drive staff members and official visitors for project-related trips, activities and assignments as requested. This shall include airport transfers. Induct staff on vehicle SOPs before embarking on a field mission; ensure that passengers adhere to the traffic rules and regulations. Maintain an up-date record of the logbook (mileage, destinations, times & passengers, maintenance) for each trip in the book provided. Acts as interpreter when carrying passengers who do not understand the local languages and whenever required. Uphold and abide by the Vehicle policy and local traffic rules and standards. Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident. Present proper receipts on any expenditure incurred on their vehicle to the Officer in charge. Vehicle management: Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident. Present proper receipts on any expenditure incurred on their vehicle to the Officer in charge. Ensure the vehicles assigned are fitted with the necessary accessories, supplies and security apparatus. Submit status reports in relation to the applicable SOPs. This shall include any damages on the vehicle. Observe day-to-day maintenance. Timely repair and periodic servicing of the assigned vehicles to keep them in top condition. Be present at the workshop during repairing/parts replacement works. Track vehicle repair and servicing of the vehicle. Troubleshoot vehicle issues, to identify list repair and replacement parts. Attend workshop during repairing and replacement works as necessary. Vehicle fitness and insurance: Ensure that the required permits and licenses are up-to date. Attend fitness procedure with vehicle, collect tax token, fitness certificate. Collect vehicle insurance certificate from insurance company. Keep fitness certificate tax token, vehicle insurance and blue book ready and updated for traffic inspection and random check. Support in logistics and other day-to-day office work: Receive incoming mail and telephone calls and attend with proper record and dispatching to relevant person. Attend visitors; respond to their queries and their entertainment during meeting in the office. Support clerical tasks such as printing, scanning and filing. Keep record of newspaper publication duly cutting and collecting from different daily newspapers. Assist in carrying and storing goods and materials for office and field use. Assist in food and supplies for guest and office meetings. S/he will assist Office assistant during office work and will

provide service in absence of office assistant. These are your qualifications Minimum of "A" level and/or BAC. Should have at least 3-5 years working experience as Driver in

any reputed organization. Should have knowledge and experience on vehicle maintenance, minor repairs. Ability to keep the vehicle secure and protected from any associated risks. Must have valid driving license to drive motorcycle, light transport and sedan car. Must be physically fit for driving vehicle with certificate passed on vision test. Should be hard working and ready to work beyond normal office hours. Able to work in team approach maintaining inter-personal relationship, flexible with positive attitude towards work and accomplishment of assignment. Should be organized and self-directed to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, working under minimal supervision. Good level of oral communication skill. Ability to read and write in French and English.
