Among these, the primary responsibilities for this position include: To maintain efficient and timely processing of guest and hotel laundry while adhering to item-specific requirements and hotel SOPs, ensuring all items remain clean and in optimal condition. To uphold the highest standards of safety, this role is responsible for the proper storage, handling, and utilization of chemicals, thereby safeguarding both the individual and their colleagues against potential misuse or hazards. Operate the laundry machines in strict adherence to their provided operating instructions, ensuring compliance with all specified weight restrictions and other pertinent requirements. Segregate linens designated for laundering from other textiles, ensuring they are grouped by intended use and color consistency. Laundry items must be promptly gathered from guest rooms as needed. After sorting the collected Guest Laundry, direct each item to the appropriate section—whether it requires dry cleaning, pressing, or washing—and ensure timely delivery to the designated area. Before returning guest laundry to their room, ensure all items have been thoroughly processed. Deliver guests’ laundry directly to their rooms while respecting any ‘Do Not Disturb’ notices. Compile and submit accurate billing information to the cashiering department before concluding your shift. Provide support to colleagues in executing job assignments, and undertake any additional hotel-related tasks as assigned.
