Partners In Health (PIH) recrute un(e) Senior Breast Imaging Program Director pour piloter des interventions cliniques, des formations et du mentorat en échographie mammaire diagnostique dans 16 hôpitaux de district au Rwanda, dans le cadre du projet MARIA.
Sous la supervision du Directeur de la Recherche et de la Formation, et en étroite collaboration avec les partenaires de PIH/IMB et du Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), ce poste vise à renforcer les soins du cancer du sein en décentralisant les services d’échographie vers les zones rurales et mal desservies, où l’accès aux radiologues et à l’imagerie diagnostique reste limité.
Le/la candidat(e) retenu(e) sera chargé(e) de concevoir et de dispenser des programmes de formation en échographie mammaire, d’assurer une supervision virtuelle en temps réel et asynchrone via la technologie tell-ultrasound, et d’évaluer l’efficacité de ces modalités de formation pour améliorer les compétences des cliniciens et l’intégration des soins cliniques. En outre, il/elle participera à des activités de recherche, à des consultations d’experts et à des discussions politiques pour interpréter les résultats, diffuser les conclusions et traduire les preuves en améliorations concrètes des pratiques et du renforcement du système de santé.
Une expertise clinique en imagerie mammaire, en particulier en échographie mammaire diagnostique, est essentielle, ainsi que la capacité à encadrer, enseigner et gérer des équipes dans des environnements à ressources limitées. Les candidats doivent détenir au moins une licence en services d’imagerie médicale (un master est préféré) et justifier de 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en services d’imagerie au sein d’établissements de santé ou de radiologie réputés. Une expérience préalable dans les programmes de lutte contre le cancer ou de détection précoce du cancer du sein est hautement souhaitable, tout comme une expérience pratique avec les équipements d’imagerie mammaire, notamment l’échographie diagnostique, la mammographie, les scanners et les IRM. De solides compétences en leadership, en communication et en organisation sont requises, ainsi qu’un engagement profond envers l’équité, la compassion et le service dans les communautés sous-desservies. La maîtrise des valeurs fondamentales de PIH/IMB, telles que l’intégrité, le respect mutuel et la solidarité, est également attendue.
