Mixx is hiring Hub Team Lead Requirements A master’s degree or an engineering qualification in computer science, telecommunications, information systems, or a comparable discipline is required. Proven track record with 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Network Operations Centers (NOC), IT operations, telecommunications, or financial technology environments, complemented by demonstrated leadership in incident management, operational oversight, and KPI governance frameworks. Dar Es Salaam Core responsibilities Oversee and direct 24/7 operational activities spanning Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie shifts while maintaining adherence to established shift management and handover protocols. Oversee precise shift transitions, maintain efficient roster organization, manage leave allocations, and guarantee operational preparedness throughout the hub. Serve as the central escalation resource for critical incidents, overseeing the management and resolution of P1 incidents, as well as coordinating escalation efforts with key stakeholders. Implement incident response procedures and spearhead collaborative support efforts across multiple hubs when handling severe or simultaneous high-priority incidents. Responsible for managing operational KPI reporting, which encompasses metrics such as Platform Availability, Transaction Success Rate, Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Time to Respond (TTR), Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), and Detection Quality Ratio. Monitor incident trends and evaluate on-call activation metrics to identify potential operational capacity issues, escalating concerns as necessary. Oversee the administration of GSOC monitoring tools, maintain platform configurations, and ensure compliance with operational processes and governance standards. Facilitate cohesive operational alignment across multiple hubs while ensuring strict adherence to established processes and fostering a culture of ongoing enhancement. Promptly notify GSOC leadership about any process deviations, operational risks, or unresolved issues, adhering to established deadlines. Oversee and direct the performance of Senior Operators and NOC Operators to maintain and enhance operational excellence. Oversee the onboarding process, training initiatives, and shift-readiness evaluations for new operators to ensure adherence to established operational standards. Facilitate ongoing career advancement and strategic succession planning by establishing and maintaining clear progression pathways, enabling progression from the NOC Operator position to Senior Operator and subsequently to the Hub Team Lead roles. Core competencies Proven expertise in ITIL frameworks, specifically incident, problem, and change management processes, is required. Proficient in ServiceNow ticketing, workflows, and reporting. Proficiency in utilizing Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and alerting systems is required. Skilled in Kibana log analysis and troubleshooting. Proficient knowledge of mobile money systems, USED technology, and transaction processing methods is required. Familiarity with network and application monitoring.
