Formation / Diplômes

• A Master’s degree or an engineering degree in Computer Science, Networks & Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.

Expérience

• Demonstrates 4 to 8 years of practical expertise in Network Operations Centers (NOC), Level 2 Support, or DevOps, including direct experience with monitoring tools, incident resolution ownership, and managing shifts in environments requiring high availability.
• Dar Es Salaam Core responsibilities Lead and manage designated shifts—Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie—while guaranteeing operational efficiency, optimal team performance, and the consistent delivery of high-quality service. Review and validate shift handovers to ensure all unresolved incidents, ongoing alerts, and critical operational tasks are thoroughly and accurately documented and communicated between shifts. Provide on-call support during scheduled shifts and lead incident response efforts for significant or simultaneous service disruptions. Coordinate incident communications, manage escalation notifications, engage with suppliers, and provide stakeholder updates—all in strict alignment with established operational procedures. Own and manage critical incidents, performing in-depth investigations and advanced troubleshooting prior to escalating issues to senior support tiers.
• Conduct in-depth investigations utilizing Diana, Grafana, and complementary monitoring solutions to detect underlying issues, service irregularities, performance patterns, and emerging risks. Translate technical issues into meaningful business impact assessments, delivering concise operational updates to both management and stakeholders. Oversee supplier escalations by ensuring prompt resolution, maintaining meticulous tracking, and conducting thorough post-incident follow-up activities. Actively oversee services, assess the efficacy of alerts, and propose enhancements to monitoring thresholds, detection quality, and overall observability capabilities. Support continuous improvement efforts by pinpointing gaps in monitoring systems, collaborating on the development of supervision frameworks, and refining operational workflows. To enhance system reliability and user satisfaction, leverage observability frameworks to align technical performance indicators with business service outcomes and customer experience metrics. Experienced professionals will provide mentorship, structured feedback, and operational guidance to NOC Operators, facilitating seamless onboarding and delivering data-driven recommendations to enhance team performance. Core competencies
• Proficiency in developing sophisticated Grafana dashboards, configuring advanced alerting mechanisms, and conducting in-depth trend analysis.
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Prometheus, encompassing metrics management, Promo query formulation, and adept alert troubleshooting capabilities. Proficient in performing advanced log analysis and event correlation using Diana and the ELK Stack, with expertise in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets. Experienced in handling ServiceNow incident, problem, and change management processes with a high level of proficiency. Proficient in identifying and resolving issues throughout the entire service delivery process. A solid grasp of Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring practices for microservices architectures is required.
