We are seeking a CCTV Operator to fill a probationary position with a six-month duration in Kampala, Uganda. This role reports directly to the IT Lead or Channel Lead and involves budget-related responsibilities. There are currently no direct reports under this position. Marie Stores Uganda (MSG), a member of MSI Reproductive Choices—the global leader in reproductive healthcare—advances equitable access to high-quality sexual and reproductive health services across Uganda. Through innovative service delivery models, MSG strengthens public health systems in over 915 government health facilities while operating 25 mobile outreach teams, 12 dedicated health centers, and a specialized maternity hospital. The organization also enhances choice through socially marketed products, including Flame and Lifeguard condoms, Back Up emergency contraception, and Well Plan daily contraceptive pills. By delivering these essential services, MSG empowers women and families to make informed decisions about family planning, fostering opportunities for personal growth, economic stability, and healthier communities. The CCTV Operator is tasked with overseeing and managing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and associated equipment to safeguard the organization’s facilities, property, employees, and guests. The operator must promptly escalate any suspicious behavior, incidents, or technical issues to the relevant authorities while ensuring meticulous documentation of all observed events. Oversee a range of critical duties pertinent to the position, focusing on delivering results that align with organizational objectives. Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution of projects, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Develop and implement strategies that enhance operational effectiveness while driving continuous improvement. Monitor progress through established metrics, providing actionable insights to refine processes and achieve targets. • Continuously review both live and archived CCTV footage to identify any potential security threats or unauthorized incidents. Operate and manage CCTV systems in strict adherence to organizational policies and all applicable legal regulations. Respond without delay to alarms, incidents, or emergencies in strict accordance with established protocols and procedures. Build and maintain strong working relationships with security staff, management, and relevant emergency services to ensure seamless coordination and effective response when required. Maintain meticulous documentation of observations, incidents, and interventions through detailed logs and records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Consistently monitor and document any malfunctions or technical irregularities pertaining to CCTV systems.
• Safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of all recordings and sensitive information. Assist investigations by supplying pertinent footage and reports as needed. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
