AsOne Ministries is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Academic Program Support Coordinator. This pivotal role involves organizing and overseeing student activities, programs, and events to enhance the college experience. Key responsibilities include planning schedules, managing logistics, and collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure smooth operations.
The Student Coordinator oversees the comprehensive well-being, conduct, and overall growth of students within AsOne Ministries. This position acts as an essential intermediary among students, educators, families, and school administration, fostering an environment where each student's academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development is nurtured. The Student Coordinator is responsible for overseeing student records, facilitating guidance and counseling services, administering disciplinary procedures, and arranging co-curricular and student-centered initiatives—all while upholding a Christ-centered approach to child safeguarding.
Oversee key operational duties integral to the role, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, driving continuous enhancement in processes and outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights, refine strategies, and foster a culture of innovation. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while fostering a productive and inclusive work environment.
The role focuses on nurturing spiritual growth and fostering deeper discipleship through intentional mentorship, biblical teaching, and community engagement, ensuring individuals develop a mature and vibrant faith. Oversee the school devotion program, ensuring its consistent implementation while maintaining an engaging and age-appropriate format. Facilitate instructional and mentorship sessions focused on discipleship to foster spiritual growth in Christian character and faith among students. The role involves planning and managing discipleship initiatives and clubs, such as Scripture Union and Bible quizzes, as well as other faith-based programs. Develop and oversee student community visits and outreach initiatives to foster meaningful engagement and collaboration. Collaborate closely with church and community leaders to enhance discipleship initiatives and expand outreach programs.
Track and evaluate the effects of discipleship and spiritual formation initiatives on the development of student character and spiritual maturity. Child protection and welfare are paramount priorities, requiring vigilant oversight to ensure the safety and well-being of all children within the organization's care or oversight. The role demands strict adherence to safeguarding policies, procedures, and legal obligations to prevent harm, abuse, or neglect. Responsibilities include conducting thorough risk assessments, implementing robust safeguarding measures, and promptly reporting any concerns or incidents in accordance with established protocols. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to child protection, a clear understanding of safeguarding principles, and the ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations. Relevant experience in child welfare, social care, or related fields is essential, along with strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A background in safeguarding training or certification is highly desirable.
