About the role: Our client is searching for a seasoned Senior Land Surveyor to deliver expert technical guidance and precise surveying assistance for construction, earthworks, and infrastructure developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing survey controls, marking out project layouts, performing topographical and as-built surveys, and verifying that all activities adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and specified tolerances. Key Responsibilities: Professional Rewriting: Develop, sustain, and validate survey control points, benchmarks, and reference systems. Responsible for establishing and marking out the positions for earthworks, roads, drainage systems, buildings, and related infrastructure. Perform detailed topographical, dimensional, and as-built surveys, then compile precise survey reports. Interpret engineering drawings, designs, and construction specifications accurately. Conduct comprehensive volume and quantity computations, encompassing cut-and-fill assessments. Ensure construction activities adhere to specified design coordinates, levels, and tolerances throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain meticulous survey records, field data, and supporting documentation to ensure precision and compliance. Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, supervisors, and construction crews to ensure seamless project execution. Offer expert technical direction and mentorship to junior survey team members. To guarantee that all surveying activities are conducted in accordance with the project’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, as well as quality specifications, is a critical responsibility. Minimum Requirements: A qualification in Land Surveying, Aromatics, or a related field, represented by either an academic degree or a diploma, is required. Professional experience spanning 8 to 10 years in relevant fields is required, with a preference for candidates with backgrounds in mining, construction, or large-scale civil projects. Proven expertise in operating Total Stations, GPS/GNSS systems, and other advanced surveying equipment. Proficient in utilizing pertinent surveying tools and CAD software applications. Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of construction drawings, survey controls, earthworks, and setting-out methodologies. Proven capability to operate autonomously and effectively lead surveying initiatives within high-pressure project settings.
