Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring all warehouse activities comply with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority Act, relevant regulations, and best practices in warehousing and distribution.
Overseeing daily warehouse functions to enhance productivity and operational excellence.
Guaranteeing real-time, accurate recording of inventory transactions within the ERP system.
Maintaining secure and organized documentation for receipts, orders, and shipments.
Managing third-party logistics partners to optimize last-mile distribution efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborating with the Finance Department to validate customer invoicing accuracy.
Providing strategic insights on stock levels and distribution patterns to senior management.
Ensuring the upkeep, efficiency, and safety of warehouse infrastructure, equipment, and material-handling protocols.
Developing, updating, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
Evaluating staff training requirements and implementing targeted capacity-building programs.
Preparing operational plans, budgets, and evaluating the performance of subordinate staff. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent qualification.
Valid registration with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA).
Postgraduate qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline will be advantageous. Experience:
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in a high-volume pharmaceutical warehouse setting. Required Competencies:
