Expérience
At Openly, our mission is to craft unforgettable joy for guests by blending anticipation, creativity, precision, empathy, and warmth into every interaction. We personalize each aspect of their stay to fulfill their deepest desires, delivering experiences that surpass expectations in an environment that is stylish yet refreshingly unpretentious. Openly Jungle House, nestled within a lush tea plantation beside an ancient rainforest, stands as an exquisite eco-retreat in the heart of Rwanda. Its defining charm lies in its warm African hospitality, where genuine generosity and deep local knowledge anticipate and exceed guest needs—whether designing bespoke excursions or curating private romantic moments. Our commitment extends beyond guest satisfaction; we actively engage with the environment, supporting community flourishing through sustainable practices like land stewardship and conservation efforts. Your role will involve organizing, coordinating, and executing personalized tours, itineraries, field activities, and services for guests, liaising with internal teams and external partners. You will ensure accurate, timely communication regarding the destination’s history, culture, and natural features while overseeing daily operations aligned with Openly Jungle House standards. This includes accompanying guests on excursions when required. Key responsibilities include sourcing premium local providers and experiences, delivering seamless service with attention to guest preferences and resort protocols, and managing logistics for on- and off-site activities, transfers, and special requests to enhance comfort and convenience. Additionally, you will oversee a designated area of the resort’s reserve, overseeing ecological maintenance, security, and sustainable development in line with environmental policies. This encompasses reporting maintenance needs, participating in land care initiatives (such as trail upkeep, flora maintenance, and wildlife monitoring), and responding to emergencies per resort guidelines to ensure guest and property safety. You will maintain a comprehensive understanding of resort offerings, proactively advising guests on available experiences, and contributing to conservation efforts, including habitat restoration and natural resource stewardship. To excel, you should possess specialized knowledge in African or Rwandan flora and fauna, natural sciences, or professional guiding experience, with fluency in English as a minimum requirement; additional languages are highly valued. We seek passionate individuals who embrace our open-hearted, intuitive, and spontaneous culture—a team dedicated to crafting
