IT Senior Advisory Consultant

PKF, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Consultant to join our forward-thinking Advisory team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with extensive expertise in IT strategy, system integration, and digital transformation, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.

As a Senior IT Consultant, you will deliver strategic technology solutions and optimize client infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include advising on enterprise-wide IT initiatives, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives. You will manage engagements from initial planning to final execution and reporting, guaranteeing alignment with client goals and adherence to the Firm’s quality standards. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, engage in training initiatives, assist with business development efforts, and foster the ongoing expansion of the IT Advisory practice.

You will lead and oversee IT advisory projects, ensuring that deliverables align with client requirements, adhere to established timelines, and comply with the Firm’s stringent quality benchmarks. You will supervise various work streams, evaluate deliverables, and offer strategic direction to team members. Engaging with senior client leadership, you will establish clear project objectives, provide regular progress updates, and deliver key findings in structured presentations. You will also prepare detailed reports and presentations designed to effectively convey intricate technical information in a comprehensible manner.

Core advisory services encompass a broad range of specialized expertise designed to support clients in navigating complex business challenges. These areas include strategic planning, operational optimization, financial restructuring, risk management, and digital transformation initiatives. Professionals in this role are expected to deliver data-driven insights, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure sustainable growth through tailored solutions. Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of industry trends are essential for success. The ideal candidate will offer strategic leadership and technical guidance across multiple IT advisory domains. Though specialized expertise in every area is not mandatory, the applicant must showcase the capacity to spearhead or actively participate in projects spanning diverse advisory disciplines. We are in search of a highly skilled professional with a comprehensive understanding of IT and deep proficiency in select key areas. Candidates should possess verifiable, practical experience in at least two (2) domains within the following clusters.

One key area involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT-related risks to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems and data. Responsibilities include developing and implementing risk management frameworks, conducting audits and assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role requires extensive experience in IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Additionally, the incumbent must possess certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or RISC, and demonstrate proficiency in risk assessment tools and methodologies.

Another area focuses on conducting comprehensive evaluations of IT Service Management (ITSM) maturity levels, systematically analyzing organizational processes, frameworks, and operational capabilities to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for enhancement. These assessments involve assessing adherence to industry-recognized standards—such as ITIL, ISO 20000, or CUBIT—and benchmarking current practices against best-in-class models to determine alignment with strategic objectives. The role requires meticulous documentation of findings, prioritization of improvement initiatives, and provision of actionable recommendations to elevate service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall IT governance. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Helix), and a deep understanding of IT service lifecycle management are essential, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable transformation.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain comprehensive strategies for business continuity and disaster recovery to ensure minimal disruption during unforeseen events. You will conduct IT due diligence assessments and develop comprehensive post-merger integration (PMI) strategies, ensuring seamless alignment of technology systems, data management, and operational workflows to maximize synergy and efficiency in the merged entity.

We are also seeking a skilled professional to spearhead business development initiatives and deliver comprehensive training programs. The ideal candidate will identify growth opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and drive revenue expansion while ensuring team members are equipped with the necessary skills to excel. Responsibilities include conducting market research, negotiating deals, and designing training modules that align with organizational objectives. A proven track record in sales, client acquisition, or leadership development, along with excellent communication and analytical abilities, is essential. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement effective strategies and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Engage actively in business development projects, such as drafting proposals and delivering client presentations, to support organizational growth and client acquisition efforts.

You will also facilitate the expansion of the IT Advisory practice by fostering knowledge sharing and driving innovation. We deliver comprehensive training sessions, both internally and externally, to strengthen team competencies and client capabilities.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of eight years in IT consulting, coupled with relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS, or PMP). Strong proficiency in cloud services, cybersecurity frameworks, and emerging technologies is essential, along with exceptional analytical and communication skills. The role demands a collaborative mindset, adaptability to evolving technologies, and a commitment to driving measurable business outcomes.

Experienced professionals in the fields of Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Operations, and Management are invited to apply.
