The role involves designing recreational activity schedules and promotional materials using publishing software. You will conduct supply audits for materials and equipment, notifying management of any shortages. Additionally, you will engage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreational programs while fostering an enjoyable and relaxing environment. Your responsibilities include providing guests with information on available facilities and activities, enforcing safety rules and regulations, and responding to emergencies in accordance with established procedures. You must promptly notify supervisors of any unsafe conditions or guests unable to participate safely and offer assistance to injured individuals until medical help arrives. Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of equipment is also required, as is supporting management in training and motivating staff while upholding workplace safety standards. This position demands strict adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, safeguarding proprietary information, and ensuring high-quality service. You will anticipate and address guest needs, including those with disabilities, communicate professionally with clarity, and process transactions accurately. The role requires proficiency in using computers and POS systems to enter and retrieve data, as well as the physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. You must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance, along with performing tasks requiring fine motor skills, balance, and coordination in various environments. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of relevant work experience, and prior supervisory experience. Required certifications include CPR, First Aid, and any additional credentials mandated by local or state regulations.
