Okazi Finance Limited, a key player in the banking, finance, and insurance sector, is seeking a seasoned Credit Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, senior-level position based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Credit Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for heading credit committees, managing the credit portfolio, and supervising team performance to ensure high-quality loan decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Heading credit committees and taking loan decisions daily, ensuring a high-quality loan portfolio while creating an open discussion among credit committee members.
Supervising and analysing the results of team members on a regular basis, ensuring the fulfilment of quantitative and qualitative targets for the team.
Manage and grow the credit portfolio.
Responsible for all areas of credit staff management, including training, monitoring, evaluating, and management performance.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking and Finance, Marketing, or any related course with a minimum of 2:2; professional certification/postgraduate study is an added advantage.
Years of Experience: 5 years and above.
Must have a sound understanding of CBN prudential guidelines and the credit risk management framework.
Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiar with core banking systems (software) like BankOne.
Must have a flair for marketing, strong capacity to read corporate financial statements, track non-performing loans, and accurately calculate portfolio at risk (PAR).
Location: Lekki, Lagos.
Work days: Mon-Fri.
Working hours: Full Time - 8 to 5.
Language requirement: English.
