A bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations, preferably within a multinational or regional context. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Swahili or other regional languages is advantageous. Background Female Camps & Lodges is looking for a seasoned Regional Operations Executive to collaborate with the Head of Operations in managing operations throughout East Africa. This position partners closely with Country and Lodge Managers to uphold operational excellence, deliver outstanding guest experiences, maintain robust financial performance, and enforce consistent company standards. Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Deliver consistent performance in assigned tasks, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive project success. Address challenges proactively, identifying solutions to optimize workflows and mitigate risks. Serve as a key contributor to strategic initiatives, providing actionable insights to support decision-making. Uphold compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Provide assistance to the Head of Operations in overseeing regional operational activities and addressing operational obstacles as they arise.

Expérience

• Oversee property performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, expenditures, and overall profitability to ensure financial and operational efficiency. Regularly perform property inspections and ensure follow-up actions on operational plans are completed. Monitor guest feedback diligently and assist in addressing significant guest concerns to ensure a seamless experience.
• Explore avenues to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, profitability, and adherence to established standards. Provide assistance for new lodge openings, refurbishments, acquisitions, and regional projects.
• Aid in the deployment of new systems, procedures, and operational enhancements to bolster efficiency and effectiveness. Provide assistance in recruitment initiatives, facilitate training programs, drive talent development efforts, implement succession planning strategies, and offer leadership coaching to enhance organizational capabilities. Foster collaborative partnerships with government officials, suppliers, vendors, tourism stakeholders, and local community representatives. Prepare operational reports and facilitate regional operations meetings.
• Serve as an authorized representative of the Head of Operations, performing delegated duties as needed. Seeking a candidate who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and has a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with project management methodologies and excellent communication skills are essential. Additionally, the role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs.
