Responsabilités
Driver grade II Company Taasisi ya Teknolojia Dar es Salaam (DIT) Positions 1 Position Calendar Application Period 27/07/2026 – 10/08/2026 Duties Duties and Responsibilities Operate motor vehicles in compliance with all applicable road traffic regulations and statutes. Motor vehicles must be thoroughly examined both prior to and following any route or journey to determine necessary maintenance or repair interventions. To verify that a motor vehicle and its equipment, including the jack, spanner, spare tire, and others, are present and maintained in optimal condition. To carry out minor/routine maintenances of vehicles; To guarantee the continuous safety and proper locking of motor vehicle doors and windows at all times; To maintain the motor’s cleanliness at all times. To document and preserve accurate records of all journeys within the Logbook with meticulous attention to detail. To assist in collecting and dispatching mails; Promptly notify the Supervisor or Traffic Police in the event of any accident without delay. Additionally, you may be tasked with undertaking any other duties deemed necessary by the Supervisor to fulfill operational needs. Qualifications Holder of a Form IV or VI Certificate and a class “C or E” Driving License, the candidate should have completed a Basic Driving Course at BETA or an equivalent recognized institution, along with valid training certificates demonstrating eligibility for the respective ranks. Additionally, the candidate must possess at least one year of driving experience, with a clean record free of accidents. Holding a Trade Test Grade II or Level II certification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or Mechanics will be considered an advantage.
