ZOO Uganda is seeking an HR Assistant to be stationed in Kampala. Your challenge The HR Assistant delivers comprehensive support across all HR functions for ZOO Uganda, spanning the entire country. This role encompasses critical HR administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate staff records and executing other essential HR operational tasks. The position requires serving all employees across Kampala, West Nile, Saratoga, and Acholic regions. This is a full-time role headquartered in Kampala, with an expected 50% field travel requirement. Maintain meticulous and current staff records in both physical and ERP formats while ensuring strict confidentiality at all times. Maintain an accurate and current staff database across all categories by regularly updating personnel information. Compile and submit all training completion reports promptly, while maintaining a current and accurate registry of staff members who have undergone training. We conduct regular evaluations to assess performance metrics and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Our team tracks key indicators to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements.
