As an integral member of Water Mission Uganda’s team, the Professionalized Services Manager cultivates a biblically grounded organizational culture that fosters excellence in alignment with God’s purposes. Collaborate closely with RWC requirements and Water Mission staff to exchange information and share best practices, fostering rapid problem resolution and continuous improvement in service delivery. Analyze the structure of the country program to pinpoint areas where the team can be expanded effectively, ensuring alignment with the program’s strategic objectives. Employed will conduct ROI analysis to inform strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with established impact objectives. Lead the execution of water across all phases, including planning, assessment, implementation, monitoring, long-term operations, and sustainability, while providing strategic guidance on its adaptation to align with the country’s specific program requirements. Ensure that all personnel engaged in asset management activities receive appropriate training and skills development to enhance their capabilities. Developing and implementing cutting-edge models of professionalized services aligned with the country’s program will be a primary focus of this role. Support the formation of a Water Utility entity while enhancing governance frameworks, policy development, and regulatory measures to ensure efficient and effective water utility management. With a focus on fostering organizational growth, this role involves designing and executing capacity-building initiatives and educational workshops to strengthen the competencies and expertise of utility management professionals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to evaluate the success of revenue generation strategies, pinpointing opportunities to enhance the performance of established utilities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize project and utility outcomes, highlight key lessons learned, and outline best practices to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with essential stakeholders, such as government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other collaborators instrumental in advancing shared objectives. To develop and oversee essential capabilities, the role will involve recruiting, training, and supervising critical personnel, such as water system operators and staff specializing in professionalized, service-oriented functions. Additional duties may be tasked as deemed necessary by management. Candidates must meet specified qualifications and requirements.
