Overview Our client is a reputable construction and manufacturing company in the Greater-Accra region. The client is urgently looking for a warehouse manager who will play a pivotal role during both the construction phase and the operational phase of our facility. Key qualifications and traits: Reliability and Integrity: A high standard of trustworthiness is essential. Candidates must have reputable references, and a recent criminal record check will be mandatory. Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy is crucial, especially with Excel proficiency. Familiarity with ERP systems would be highly beneficial. Warehouse Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of warehouse systems, including inventory management, asset tracking, segregation, distribution, and minimum stock level management, is required. Industry Knowledge: Experience with construction materials, particularly in steel structure environments, is a significant advantage. Language Proficiency: Candidates should have native or near-native English proficiency. Knowledge of Turkish is a plus but not essential. Nationality and Region: We are open to candidates from Ghana or neighboring countries. Personality and Work Ethic: The ideal candidate will be dynamic, proactive, adaptable flexible hours, analytically minded, and a strong team player with effective communication skills across departments (e.g., Procurement and Project Management). Commitment to Long-Term Employment: As the facility will remain under our management upon project completion, we seek candidates interested in a long-term role within our organization. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; master’s degree or professional certification. Familiarity with safety regulations, security protocols, and workplace health standards governing warehouse operations, including OSHA, EPA, and FDA requirements.
