Résumé du poste : Le Credit Officer assurera le bon fonctionnement du département des opérations en mettant en œuvre des mesures de contrôle appropriées et en respectant les politiques et procédures établies, afin de maintenir un portefeuille sain avec un PAR ne dépassant pas 3 %, en effectuant des évaluations de prêt conformes aux politiques et procédures en vigueur.

Responsabilités clés :

Évaluer les qualifications des clients pour les prêts demandés sur la base du manuel de politique de crédit. Interviewer les clients pour expliquer clairement les procédures de prêt et les exigences d'EFL. S'assurer que tous les documents nécessaires au traitement des prêts sont préparés et soumis au comité de crédit pour approbation. Conseiller les clients sur la documentation nécessaire. Veiller à ce que tous les formulaires de demande de prêt soient traités dans les délais prescrits conformément à la politique de crédit. Effectuer des évaluations des risques pour garantir un recouvrement optimal des fonds décaissés. Conseiller la direction sur les révisions des politiques et procédures de prêt pour garantir leur cohérence et leur capacité à atteindre la stratégie de l'entreprise. Se tenir informé des nouveaux types de prêts, services et produits financiers pour mieux répondre aux besoins des clients. Développer des relations continues entre l'entreprise et les clients dans le but d'atteindre des niveaux élevés de fidélité et de satisfaction client. Traiter les réclamations des clients et prendre les mesures appropriées pour les résoudre. Assurer un classement rapide et précis de toutes les informations de crédit et de prêt. Assurer le suivi des prêts en cours dont il/elle est responsable, en fournissant régulièrement un rapport à l'administrateur de crédit ou au responsable désigné.

Formation et certifications : Diplôme de licence dans toute discipline liée aux affaires, de préférence en administration des affaires, d'une université réputée.

Connaissances et expérience essentielles : Nouveau diplômé. Doit savoir conduire une moto et posséder un permis de conduire valide, ou être prêt à apprendre dans le premier mois d'engagement. Doit maîtriser les langues locales couramment utilisées et être prêt à travailler dans l'une de nos agences. Doit être âgé de 22 à 25 ans.

Our investment goes beyond providing capital to creating innovative solutions tailored towards the financial needs of a growing private equity. We opened doors in May 2012 and have since then expanded to several branches with our headquarters in Entebbe. Company Relationships: Position reports to: Branch Manager Direct reports: None Key relationships: The Position works closely with the Branch Manager to ensure the growth of the Company and its Clients. Job Summary: The Credit Officer will ensure smooth running of the operations department by carrying out proper control measures and adhering to set policies and procedures, to maintain a clean portfolio with PAR of not more than 3% by carrying out proper loan appraisals in accordance with set policies and procedures. Key Responsibility Areas Specific Responsibilities Assess client’s qualifications to receive loans applied for based on the credit policy manual. Interview clients to clearly explain the lending procedures and requirements of EFL. Ensure that all required documents for loan processing are prepared and submitted to the credit committee for approvals. Advises clients on necessary documentation. Ensures that all loan application forms are processed in line with the prescribed timelines as per the Credit Policy. Conducts risk assessments to ensure optimum recovery of funds disbursed. Advises management on reviews of loan policies and procedures to ensure they are consistent and capable of delivering the strategy of the company. Stay abreast of new types of loans, financial services and products to best meet clients’ needs. Develops ongoing relationships between the company and the clients with the objectives of achieving high levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction. Handles customer complaints and takes appropriate action to resolve them.

Formation / Diplômes

Ensure all filing of credit and loan information is done in a timely and accurate manner. Follow up on loans outstanding he/she is responsible for, regularly providing a report to the credit administrator or designated official. Personal Specification Education & Certifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in any business-related course, preferably Business Administration from a reputable University. Essential Knowledge and Experience Fresh graduate. Must be able to ride a motorcycle and should possess a valid riding license or be willing to learn within the 1st month of engagement.
