Medical Herbalist
Greenlife Herbery is recruiting a Medical Herbalist for its team in Accra. The position is full-time, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is based in the Accra & Tema region.
Job Context
The Medical Herbalist assesses patients, provides treatments using medicinal plants, educates patients, monitors outcomes, and ensures compliance with professional standards.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting patient consultations and assessments. Diagnosing conditions relevant to herbal medicine. Prescribing and dispensing herbal medications. Monitoring treatment progress and maintaining records. Educating patients on herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle. Complying with regulatory and ethical standards. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Preparing reports and supporting outreach and research activities.
Desired Profile
Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree. Certification in Basic Life Support is an advantage.
Experience: Intermediate level, with 2 to 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
Skills: Excellent patient counseling and communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Language: English required.
Location: Accra.
Salary: Competitive and based on qualifications and experience.
