Logistics Associate (Shipping)

The Logistics Associate (Shipping) at WFP will oversee shipping management and port operations, ensuring timely reception and coordination with port authorities. The role involves customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and risk management to optimize costs and mitigate delays. Candidates will need to manage relationships with freight forwarders and customs authorities while ensuring adherence to local regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and fluency in French, with a focus on supporting humanitarian efforts in Central Africa.

Candidate Requirements:

• Secondary school education
• University degree in Logistics or related field
• 5 years of experience in port operations or customs clearance
• Strong knowledge of Cameroon and CEMAC customs procedures
• Fluency in French and intermediate English
