Background Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Department of State (DOS). The project provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to achieve HIV epidemic control among at-risk populations, strengthen global health security, expand tuberculosis detection and treatment, improve maternal and child health, address malaria, and promote health systems strengthening. In Cameroon, the EpiC project supports the continuation and expansion of life-saving HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support services, building on previous PEPFAR-funded initiatives. The program focuses on strengthening community-led platforms and integrating them with facility based systems to increase access to quality HIV-related services, with particular emphasis on achieving the first 95 of the UNAIDS targets while sustaining progress toward the second and third 95. Family World International (FAWOI) is a civil society organization committed to fostering autonomous and sustainable communities through capacity building, skills development, and strategic partnerships. FAWOI works across five thematic areas: Health, Education, Protection, Economic Empowerment, and Development, with a strong focus on women’s and girls’ wellbeing. FAWOI will implement the FHI360-led EpiC Cameroon project in the Southwest Region, specifically in the health districts of Muyuka, Kumba North, Mamfe, Tombel, and Bangem. 2. Position Summary FAWOI is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Coordinator / Project Manager to lead the programmatic implementation of the EpiC Cameroon project at the community-based organization (CBO) level. The Project Coordinator will provide overall leadership, coordination, and management of project activities, ensuring alignment with donor requirements, government policies, and organizational strategies. The position requires close collaboration with government partners, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality implementation and achievement of project results. 3. Key Responsibilities The Project Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: • Provide overall leadership and management to ensure coherent project direction and effective implementation. • Build the technical and managerial capacities of project staff through mentorship, coaching, and performance management. • Coordinate with operations, finance, and M&E teams to ensure compliance with donor regulations, effective budget management, knowledge management, and risk mitigation. • Support technical and M&E staff to document, analyze, and disseminate lessons learned and best practices. • Ensure routine field monitoring visits to assess quality, progress, and adherence to project plans. • Collaborate with the Finance Unit to ensure staff understand financial and administrative procedures related to project budgeting and reporting. • Represent FAWOI professionally with government partners, implementing partners, donors, and other stakeholders at the regional level. • Support the Executive Director in stakeholder engagement, advocacy actions, and official visits. • Foster a results-oriented supervisory environment that promotes accountability, learning, productivity, and
