Expérience

Our client, a global mining services company, is seeking a General Manager, experienced in Commercial & Contract Compliance, to ensure sound commercial governance and contract compliance across all projects and regions. Provides leadership on contract negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution to protect the Group’s commercial interests. Responsibilities: Oversee the administration of all client and vendor contracts. Develop and enforce commercial policies, procedures and templates. Support bid and tender reviews to ensure risk is properly assessed. Lead negotiations for major contracts, claims and variations. Monitor contractual obligations and identify non-compliance risks. Collaborate with Finance and Legal on dispute resolution and claims management. Train operations staff in contract and commercial awareness.

Qualifications, Experience & Competencies Degree in Law, Commerce or Quantity Surveying; MBA or Chartered status preferred.

  • 10 + years in contract/commercial management within engineering or mining services . Negotiation Legal and financial literacy Risk awareness Integrity Attention to detail.
