Our client, a remote camp solutions provider to mines in sub-Saharan Africa is looking for a Financial Manager preferably with experience in remote Facilities (e.g. lodges, mine camps, hotels) . Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Manager will ensure corporate governance and statutory compliance, manage monthly accounts, VAT returns, stock valuations, and intercompany loan reconciliations. Key responsibilities include budgeting, performance monitoring, financial forecasting, internal audit coordination, and improving finance policies and controls. Responsibilities: The position reports to the CFO Ensure corporate governance and statutory compliance. Preparation of monthly management accounts timeously. Oversee stock purchasing and final monthly stock valuation processes. Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns. Budgeting and performance monitoring. Managing and coordinating of the payable function. Monthly forecasting of the profit/loss, balance sheet and cash flows. Improve and maintain all Finance policies, processes, procedures, and internal controls. Compile annual financial reporting including statutory reports. Review all balance sheet and payroll reconciliation. Co-ordinate Internal Audit Reviews and monitor findings and ensure resolutions thereof Reconcile Intercompany loans monthly.
Requirements : Qualification and Skill Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mining industry CA/CIMA is advantages Knowledge of financial and accounting Software Practical knowledge of VAT and income tax High level competency in MS Office
