Read more about this company Land Surveyor Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 - 5 years Location Oyo Job Field Construction & Site Engineering   Role Overview The Land Surveyor will be responsible for accurately measuring and determining land boundaries, as well as providing critical data on land features such as shape, contour, elevation, and dimensions. This role supports engineering, construction, and mapping activities and requires hands-on experience with modern surveying instruments and geospatial technologies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys. Conduct physical site and ground surveys using appropriate equipment to establish baselines, elevations, and geodetic measurements. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations. Establish legal property boundaries based on land titles and deeds. Record and document survey results, including terrain features and dimensions. Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, and property lines. Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders. Determine longitudes and latitudes using GPS, theodolites, and other surveying tools. Apply knowledge of photogrammetry and electronic data processing in mapping activities. Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
