Read more about this company Sales Engineer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 1 - 3 years Location Lagos Job Field Engineering / Technical   , Sales / Marketing / Retail / Business Development   Salary Range ₦200,000 - ₦300,000/month Salary: N250,000 – N350,000 gross Benefits: Commission, Transport Allowance, Leave Allowance, HMO & Pension Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience, ideally in diesel/gas generators, transformers, and switchgear Job Summary The Sales Engineer/Representative will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling power solutions, including diesel/gas generators, transformers, and switchgear. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing technical sales support to customers. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial, commercial, and utility sectors. Promote and sell diesel/gas generators, transformers, and switchgear solutions to prospective clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand client power needs and recommend suitable technical solutions. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve assigned revenue targets. Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business growth. Prepare periodic sales reports and maintain accurate customer records. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in power solutions or related products. Strong knowledge of diesel/gas generators, transformers, and switchgear. Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented.
