Country Director Cameroon

The Country Director for NRC in Cameroon will lead a team of over 75 colleagues to implement quality humanitarian programs and advocacy in response to complex humanitarian crises. This role requires strategic vision and strong management to ensure effective program delivery and alignment with organizational priorities. The Country Director will also drive resource mobilization, advocacy efforts, and build high-performing teams. The position demands a proactive approach to collaboration with regional offices and other country operations. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Manager/Country Director in humanitarian context Experience in complex and volatile contexts Proven results related to position responsibilities Knowledge of leadership skills/profile Fluency in English, both written and verbal Valid driver’s license Knowledge of the context in Cameroon and CAR Experience in advocacy work Experience with change management processes Ability to handle insecure environments Strong planning and results delivery skills Effective communication skills Ability to cope with change
