Background The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) is a public higher learning institution established under Act No. 3 of 1972. The institution provides training, research, and consultancy services in banking, insurance, social protection, taxation, accountancy, and related disciplines. IFM is accredited by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) and operates six campuses located in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Dodoma, Simiyu, Geita, and Zanzibar. The Institute invites applications from qualified, competent, and dedicated Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions on a one-year contractual basis, renewable. Workstation Dar es Salaam Required Qualifications Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: – Accountancy. – Finance. – Business Administration or Commerce majoring in Accountancy or Finance. Alternatively, applicants may possess an Intermediate Certificate (Module D) offered by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA). Equivalent qualifications from recognised institutions will also be considered. Duties and Responsibilities – Assist in receiving and paying cash. – Post and balance ledger accounts. – Issue invoices and follow up on payments of bills. – Assist in maintaining complete and accurate accounting records. – Prepare trial balances. – Assist in checking claims and retirement reports and ensure they are supported by appropriate documentation. – Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
