Specific Duties and Responsibilities – Transport employees and work equipment to and from work locations. – Inspect the vehicle before and after daily use to ensure transportation safety. – Report any challenges, defects, or mechanical faults promptly. – Drive in compliance with all road safety regulations and vehicle operating procedures. – Participate in regular safety meetings and safety-related training sessions. – Adhere to and comply with Kilombero Sugar Company’s procedures, policies, and safety guidelines under SHERQ, as well as Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) regulations. – Ensure the vehicle always remains clean and clean immediately whenever necessary. – Observe personal safety, the safety of others, and environmental protection requirements. Must have skills Good communication skills Qualifications Job Qualification and Experience – Secondary education, Form Four level or above. – At least two (2) years of driving experience. – Valid driving licence. – Driving training certificate from a government-recognized institution such as VETA. – Knowledge of road signs and traffic laws.
