CIVIL ENGINEER Location: Lusaka, Zambia (with travel to project sites) Employment Type: Full-time Contract Experience: Minimum 5 years KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Carry out quantity take-off from architectural, structural and MEP drawings. – Prepare accurate BOQs and cost estimates. – Calculate and manage material requirements with wastage allowances. – Track project costs, assess and document variations. – Monitor site progress, update project schedules and identify delays. – Maintain project and material records and prepare final accounts. QUALIFICATIONS &
EXPERIENCE
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying (Diploma with strong experience may be considered). – Minimum 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation and project monitoring for building or infrastructure projects. – Experience in fuel station, commercial or retail construction is a strong advantage. – Registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or a relevant professional body is preferred.
