RESERVATION OFFICERLocation: Kigali, Rwanda Industry: Hospitality POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Reservation Officerwith proven hands-on experience using OPERA Property Management System (PMS). KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHandle room reservations, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations. Manage room availability, rates, and guest profiles using OPERA PMS. Process individual, corporate, and group reservations. Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. Respond professionally to guest inquiries through telephone and email. Promote room upgrades and additional hotel services to maximize revenue. Prepare daily reservation reports and occupancy forecasts. Ensure accurate reservation records and maintain guest confidentiality. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSDiploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations. MANDATORY: Practical knowledge and proficiency in OPERA PMS. Strong understanding of hotel reservation procedures, room inventory, and rate management. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in English; French is an added advantage. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure. Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is an added advantage.
