This role provides mining engineering services to the VRMC mining operations. Summary of Job Description Operational Oversight & Process Management Ensure all site operations comply with local, governmental, industry, and company standards. Oversee daily gold washing plant operations, focusing on safety, efficiency, and production targets. Review and analyse current processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements. Develop and maintain clear operational guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Manage and optimize workflows to ensure streamlined operations and cost-effective resource utilization. Logistical Coordination & Resource Management Coordinate procurement, transportation, and inventory of critical materials, tools, and equipment. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services. Monitor and manage site logistics, including fuel, water, spare parts, and consumables. Project & Administrative Support Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing site-level projects and initiatives. Track progress against milestones and ensure timely completion of operational goals. Provide administrative support including report preparation, scheduling, and documentation. Data Analysis & Reporting Collect and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making. Prepare and deliver operational reports to management, providing actionable insights. Use data-driven tools to support continuous improvement and cost control initiatives. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance Enforce and promote a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to HSE regulations and best practices. Participate in risk assessments and implement corrective measures for safe site operations. Coordinate with HSE officers to conduct training, inspections, and incident investigations.
