International Medical Corps has worked in Cameroon since 2008, when we responded to a large influx of refugees from the Central African Republic (CAR). In the years since, we have provided lifesaving assistance during food crises and recurrent floods, responded to outbreaks such as cholera and COVID-19, and cared for internally displaced people, returnees and refugees as they fled ongoing violence in the Lake Chad Basin and in the Northwest and Southwest regions. Cameroon faces ongoing, complex and underfunded humanitarian crises stemming from armed regional and internal conflict, as well as from the hundreds of thousands of refugees seeking shelter and safety within Cameroon’s borders. In 2026, 2.9 million people are estimated to be in need of humanitarian assistance, while services target as priority less than 50% of PiN (1.1 million). To support its programme in the NorthWest region, International Medical Corps is looking for a Health Field Site Manager. This person will work closely with the Field Coordinator and the Country Programme team, as well as support departments internally and partners, public stakeholders and authorities externally. <div class="col-lg-3

Positioning — Your cover letter must answer one question: why YOU for THIS specific role right NOW? Avoid generic templates — one sentence on what you specifically bring beats three generic paragraphs.

•Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
•Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
•Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
•Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
•Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
•A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
