Read more about this company Business Development Manager Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 4 years Location Lagos Job Field Sales / Marketing / Retail / Business Development   About the Role: We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Business Development Managers with strong background in B2B enterprise-level IT solution sales. The ideal candidate(s) must possess strong understanding of the software, cybersecurity and cloud solutions as well as client management and organizational leadership. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the enterprise especially in banking, insurance, manufacturing and oil and gas sectors. Support the development and execution of business strategies to drive sales growth and market expansion. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential areas for business development. Contribute to go-to-market plans and initiatives that enhance brand visibility and positioning. Manage the entire sales process — from prospecting and lead generation to proposal presentation and deal closure. Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met effectively. Track and report sales performance, pipeline progress, and key business metrics. Maintain updated knowledge of company products, pricing, and competitive advantages. Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients, especially within the banking and enterprise sectors. Leverage existing industry contacts to generate qualified leads and new business opportunities. Ensure client satisfaction through consistent engagement, prompt follow-ups, and reliable communication. Represent the company professionally during client meetings, events, and presentations. Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and quotations that address client requirements. Monitor performance against sales targets and provide regular progress updates. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree/HND in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field Minimum of 4 years’ working experience with an IT technology solutions provider. Strong knowledge of software development processes (SDLC) and IT service delivery. Proven experience in B2B sales operations; strategic planning, client management, and operational oversight. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM tools, pipeline management and Microsoft Office Suite. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
