Key Responsibilities Lead the geological mapping and sampling programs to define ore body geometry and grade distribution. Develop and maintain complex 3D geological models using industry-standard software to guide drilling and excavation. Supervise the core logging process and ensure the integrity of all geological data collected from the field. Collaborate with the mine planning team to optimize pit designs and underground development based on geological constraints. Conduct rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) audits on all laboratory assays and field samples. Prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders, outlining resource estimates and exploration potential. Mentor junior geologists and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and safety. Required Skills Expertise in Leapfrog, Micromine, or Surpac for geological modeling and resource estimation. Advanced knowledge of structural geology, mineralogy, and geochemistry.
