Ce poste à temps plein s'inscrit dans une vision pédagogique visant à offrir une éducation large et équilibrée pour le développement de l'enfant dans sa globalité, encourager l'ambition d'exceller dans tous les domaines de la vie scolaire, et créer un environnement bienveillant.
Le titulaire du poste devra être un enseignant pleinement qualifié avec une formation et une expérience en Key Stage 2. Les candidats kényans doivent détenir un certificat valide de la Teachers Service Commission, tandis que les candidats étrangers doivent posséder un Qualified Teacher Status. Une expérience dans des écoles suivant le curriculum britannique est requise. Le candidat idéal saura établir de bonnes relations avec les élèves, les parents, les familles et les collègues, créer un environnement d'apprentissage stimulant et engageant, faire preuve d'initiative, de flexibilité et d'adaptabilité. Il devra également être proactif au sein de l'équipe de Banda School, désireux de s'impliquer pleinement dans tous les aspects de la vie d'une école préparatoire de premier plan, ponctuel, et capable d'utiliser son temps de préparation de manière appropriée. De bonnes compétences en communication avec les adultes et les enfants sont essentielles.
Les compétences organisationnelles, un niveau compétent en anglais écrit, et l'utilisation des TIC dans l'enseignement sont attendus. La familiarité avec les écrans interactifs et les iPads est importante. Le candidat devra présenter un certificat de bonne conduite (Police Clearance Certificate) ou un certificat international de protection de l'enfance (ICPC), veiller à la sauvegarde et au bien-être des élèves, et se tenir informé des développements éducatifs et des meilleures pratiques pédagogiques.
