Responsabilités
The position requires addressing client inquiries regarding wine origins, quality, and styles, alongside verifying stock levels and preparing supply requisitions. Responsible for maintaining adequate alcohol inventory through timely restocking, ensuring the correct bottle count at all times. Closing duties include announcing final service, processing drink orders with precise measurements via designated systems, uncorking and serving wine or champagne, and conducting cash register reconciliation, reporting discrepancies, securing funds, and balancing cash drawers. Maintains secure cash handling procedures, including obtaining required change while safeguarding the till. Ensures proper storage and security of alcohol, beverages, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas, while proactively communicating replenishment needs. Leads by example in fostering teamwork and assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, motivating, and supervising staff. Upholds all safety protocols, including reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents, completing required training, and obtaining relevant certifications. Maintains a polished, professional appearance and adheres to confidentiality standards while protecting company assets. Demonstrates respect and dignity toward colleagues and guests, contributing to shared team objectives and adhering to quality assurance benchmarks. Handles physical demands, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) independently. Endures prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking during shifts, while reading and verifying fine print or small text across various formats. Manipulates objects with precision, requiring strong hand-eye coordination, and reaches overhead or below knee level with agility. Navigates tight, confined, or elevated spaces, uneven or sloped surfaces, staircases, and service ramps safely. Engages guests warmly per company standards, communicates professionally and courteously in all interactions, and demonstrates active listening to address concerns. Assists with additional duties as assigned by supervisors that align with role responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience: Minimum 1 year in a related field. Supervisory Experience: None required. Licenses/Certifications: None required.
