Eko Maintenance Limited, a rapidly growing facility management company specializing in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities, is recruiting for the position of HVAC Technician. The role is based in Victoria Island, Lagos, and is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair a variety of ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and associated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency. Execute precise installation, including gas welding, for Split AC units. Maintain accurate daily logs and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities. Operate chillers, air handling units, chilled water pumps, split air-conditioning units, and package units to ensure effective cooling, while maintaining accurate operational logs. Adhere to safety procedures related to maintenance and engineering activities. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Relevant Work Experience / Qualification
Possession of a Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or a recognized Trade Test Certification. 3-6 years of practical work experience as an AC Technician or in a similar HVAC-related role. Demonstrated proficiency in working with diverse HVAC systems, including Air Conditioners, Refrigerator units, and heating pump systems. Strong practical skills in connecting pipes, precise copper pipe brazing, and effective duct insulation.
