Additional duties include assessing the condition of materials, performing conservation treatments, and maintaining accurate documentation of all repairs and processes. To maintain an organized and current repository, compile and register all materials that have been prepared, bound, and systematically updated. All materials delivered to the bindery must be securely bound. Procure binding materials as required for operational needs. Ensure the security of the bindery operations is maintained at all times. Duties may include performing additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor from time to time. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development, cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with a strong understanding of network infrastructure, encryption protocols, and threat analysis. Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR is highly valued. Excellent problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are also necessary. Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are equally important. A Level Certificate or its equivalent qualification is required. ii. A Certificate in bookbinding is required for this position.
