The Role At Lipline, perception data is the foundation of our autonomous delivery systems, enabling aircraft to interpret their surroundings—detecting other aircraft, identifying ground obstacles, and ensuring precise deliveries. As a Data Labeling Specialist, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our global operations by meticulously labeling and reviewing sensor data. Your work will transform raw operational data into high-quality training and evaluation datasets for machine learning models. By applying annotation guidelines with precision, identifying edge cases, data anomalies, and tool inefficiencies, you will provide actionable feedback to our Autonomy teams, ensuring that perception development remains anchored in accurate, reliable data. Responsibilities You will label and review data from diverse sensor streams using both internal tools and external platforms, enriching datasets with the necessary metadata for machine-learning applications. Developing deep expertise across various sensor-data workflows, you will consistently apply annotation guidelines to produce datasets that are precise, comprehensive, and reliable. You’ll systematically identify data irregularities, edge cases, recurring ambiguities, and process inefficiencies, while escalating any quality, tool, or system issues that could impact labeling accuracy, efficiency, or downstream perception development.
