With a network of over 30 secondary schools in Uganda serving more than 16,000 students, a 50-member Country Office team, and approximately 900 staff across its partner schools, PEAS is seeking to fill two headteacher positions at Town View and Bitterer PEAS High School. PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools) is currently seeking two Headteachers to join their team, one at Along PEAS High School in Maybe and another at Kira View Secondary School in Jinja. These positions will report directly to the Senior School Support Officer (SSO). The Headteacher will lead the PEAS school with visionary, energetic, and motivational guidance to ensure the institution meets its established educational goals. This role demands strategic direction and expert administration to foster the school’s success and continuous improvement. By upholding exceptional educational standards and tailored learning experiences, the Headteacher will champion academic excellence and elevate performance across all aspects of the school’s operations. Conducting proactive outreach initiatives to engage potential partners, clients, or stakeholders forms a core part of this role, ensuring meaningful connections are established and nurtured. Assists the Senior Student Support Officer (SSO) in identifying and evaluating prospective additions to both teaching and non-teaching staff through thorough research and strategic recommendations. Collaborate effectively within the Network to enhance its operational efficiency and strategic objectives, ensuring seamless integration of efforts with cross-functional teams to drive collective success and innovation.
