Job Overview A dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Supervisor is required to manage daily dispatch operations, stock picking, and site traffic flow. The successful applicant will lead warehouse staff, uphold safety and security protocols, and guarantee precise order fulfillment in compliance with the Zambian Employment Code Act and relevant local industrial regulations. Key Responsibilities Stock & Order Preparation: Process shipment documentation, including waybills and Material Requisition Forms (MRFs), while collaborating with warehouse teams to verify the precise preparation and staging of goods. Traffic & Dispatch Management: Manage the flow of vehicle movement and yard operations, ensuring delivery and collection trucks are directed to appropriate loading bays in a structured and organized manner. Verification & Quality Control: Conduct thorough verification audits on prepared items by comparing them against corresponding waybills to ensure both quantity and condition accuracy, prior to submitting them to the Operations Manager or Site Supervisor for final authorization. Team Supervision & Loading: Experienced professionals will supervise warehouse personnel, specifically loaders and assistants, throughout all loading and unloading procedures, ensuring adherence to established material handling protocols to reduce instances of product damage. Housekeeping & Equipment Maintenance: At the conclusion of each shift, maintain cleanliness, secure storage, and orderly arrangement of staging areas, pallets, strapping belts, hand trucks, and all material handling equipment. HSE & Security Compliance: Enforce stringent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols to uphold a zero-incident workplace, while vigilantly overseeing warehouse operations to mitigate risks such as inventory shrinkage, theft, or unauthorized entry. Qualifications & Requirements Education: A Grade 12 Certificate with full credits, including Mathematics and English, is required. A Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (CAPS), Logistics and Transport (CULT), or an equivalent qualification is highly desirable. Experience: Experienced in warehouse operations, dispatch management, or inventory control. Key Skills: Accomplishes numerical tasks and stock assessments with precision; demonstrates exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills; exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility. Compliance: Possesses knowledge of Zambian workplace safety regulations and statutory obligations, including compliance with NASA and AHIMA. Holds a valid BUILT License.
