The Emergency Physician delivers expert, evidence-based emergency and acute care to patients across all levels of medical urgency, ensuring high-quality treatment for acute illnesses and injuries. This role integrates hands-on clinical practice with leadership in medical education, providing supervision and mentorship to medical students, interns, residents, nurses, and other healthcare staff while advancing departmental quality improvement initiatives and research efforts. Operating within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, the physician upholds institutional values of patient safety, equitable care, and academic excellence.

In clinical practice, the physician evaluates, diagnoses, and manages a wide range of emergency conditions, including critical cases requiring resuscitation, trauma management, pediatric emergencies, and mental health crises. They perform and oversee essential emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, vascular access, chest drainage, cardioversion, and lumbar punctures. Efficient patient flow is maintained through precise triage and timely decision-making regarding patient disposition, with close collaboration across hospital departments—including surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, and allied health—to optimize outcomes. Accurate and comprehensive medical documentation is consistently maintained in compliance with hospital protocols.

The physician plays a pivotal role in education and academic development, guiding and instructing medical trainees, interns, and junior staff through structured supervision, performance feedback, and formal teaching sessions. Responsibilities include delivering didactic instruction, case discussions, simulation-based training, and bedside teaching, as well as contributing to curriculum design and competency-based assessments. Scholarly engagement is expected, encompassing research initiatives, quality improvement projects, case studies, and the development of clinical guidelines.

A strong commitment to quality, safety, and governance is central to this role, as the physician promotes patient safety culture, participates in clinical audits, and reviews adverse events to drive continuous improvement. They ensure adherence to national clinical standards, accreditation requirements, and infection control measures, while contributing to key performance indicator monitoring and departmental preparedness, including emergency response drills and accreditation processes. Risk identification and escalation are conducted through established governance mechanisms.

Leadership and collaboration are integral, as the physician serves as a role model in professional behavior, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary communication. They contribute to strategic planning, policy formulation, and operational enhancements within the department, while fostering strong partnerships with pre-hospital services, referral centers, and community health organizations.

Candidates must hold a postgraduate specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine (Fellowship, Board Certification, or equivalent national registration) and possess a minimum of three

  • Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
